Sustainability Management is focused on reducing energy usage across campus. A benchmarking study was completed and is updated annually. It helps identify the most energy intensive facilities including many lab and research facilities. Sustainability Management uses this data to identify projects that will provide the greatest reduction in energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. Energy tracking software is also used to measure and track reductions in utilities and metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MTCO2e). The table below identifies project savings in MTCO2e.
